After traveling around the world and playing across the country Soul Rebel Project returns home to Gloucester, MA to release part one of their new two part full length LP series entitled “Blessings vol 1”. “We are thrilled to be featured as one of the showcase artists at this wonderful new venue in our hometown” says SRP. VPAL recording artist Soul Rebel Project who were considered for a Grammy with their 2018 release of “Inspiration” are also two time winners of the Boston Music Awards international artist of the year, for their energetic powerful live shows, production and constant touring. SRP has shared stages internationally with reggae artist such as Damian Marley, Stick Figure, Barrington Levy, The Wailers, Freddy Mcgregor, Lee Scratch Perry and more. With their studio efforts up again for Grammy consideration and breaking the billboard top 10 Soul Rebel Project has earned a reputation as award winning writers and performers rooted in Rock Reggae and Dub Jam. Their last album “Someday” released in 2022 charted #2 on the iTunes reggae charts.

From producing for modern artists like Collie Buddz, Chronixx, Kabaka Pyramid, Jesse Royal, and Roe Summerz to working with legendary acts like Beenie Man, Capleton, Busy Signal, Akae Beka, and Lee “Scratch” Perry. Green Lion Crew continues to push the boundaries of sonics and style while madly celebrating the culture of Jamaica.
Since their inception, the music of Green Lion Crew has been heard on ESPN, Vice TV, and the X-Games. The group has been supported by tropical tastemakers like Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, David Rodigan from BBC 1xtra, and Yaadcore from Jamaica. In 2019 they teamed up with Ineffable Records to help elevate their releases and since then, their streaming catalog has surpassed 20 million lifetime streams. With a critically acclaimed album called Riddim Full of Culture released in 2022 and new production credits for Sizzla, Anthony B, Busy Signal, Bugle, The Movement, Yaadcore and more they show no signs of slowing down.
JAH RIFFE
JahRiffe, a first-generation Jamaican, is a solo artist and the lead singer of the Jah-N-I Roots band. His eclectic background and lifestyle are what make up the type of music he creates which he calls: World Roots Reggae.
In 2016 he had his major break out single, "Rasta Can't Fade" which propelled him to a status of sharing stages with the likes of Jah9, Kabaka Pyramid, Ibamar and more stars. The video for the single quickly amassed a 100k views in its first week on Reggaeville.com.
“In 2019, after opening for Jah 9, I connected with her bass player Jah D (David Goldfine). I flew to Florida, and we recorded my new album called “Reflections". It is about my journey, and at that time I was feeling a little defeated and was trying to get to know myself more. On this album I choose to discuss my journey… the things I have seen and felt: the break-ups, the make-ups and all the other ups and downs I had experienced through my work, being a father, musician, and Black businessman. The first single from the album is also titled ‘Reflection’.
DUB BOAT
Dub Boat is an instrumental Reggae band hailing from Boston’s North Shore. The band brings influences from Jazz, Rock, Funk and Soul to create a unique Reggae sound, with heavy grooves, deep pockets, and catchy Instrumental Reggae melodies. The band includes current and former members of Soul Rebel Project, The Brew, Cold Engines, and the Aardvark Jazz Orchestra. Dub Boat’s self-titled 2020 debut release charts new territories in Reggae music.
COLD ENGINES
North Shore Boston’s Cold Engines is the retro-wave, power pop, and melody driven rock project of musicians David Drouin, Aaron Zaroulis, Geoff Pilkington and Adam Saylor. The group emerged in 2015 with a prolific run of 13 full length albums and over 140 shows a year supporting the likes of Los Lobos, Blues Traveler, Bobby Keyes, Rustic Overtones, and Soule Mounde.
Cold Engines has won and been recognized for Rock Band Of The Year in both 2016 and 2022 as well as Song Of The Year and Album Of The Year at the New England Music Awards. Subsequent nominations for New Act Of The Year and more have been handed down in multiple Northeast award shows. The industry has clearly taken notice. Now six years in, the band has found itself fully and without apology as a recording and songwriting force with their 13th release, Flower Covered Hills-The Final Chapter releasing on Aug. 11th, 2023.
